The Good Old Days
Assalamualaykum wht,  Hari SMI 1996, UIA, Gombak. The university was pretty new at that time with some of its buildings were still under construction. This picture was taken after we won the netball game against al-Amin, (if I'm not mistaken). The al-Amin team wasn't satisfied with the result, and they challenged us to partake in a 'friendly' netball game against the al-Amin seniors (those who above 15 : all of our players ranging below 15 years old). Well, we were defeated by them, obviously after four straight games with limited breaks, plus they didn't pick on someone their own sizes, did they?. I love them all though. :) One thing I remember about this picture was, I got to the game only 5 minutes before our first game...because I fell asleep. Someone who tried to find me came to my room, but and she ended up reporting to the coach that I was nowhere to be seen. I, on the other hand, was actually still sleeping on the bed, but I accidentally rolled over against the wall, and placed my body in an empty space between the mattress and the wall, which made me undiscoverable to a human eye sight. I couldn't remember how I finally got to the game but, I did remember play with 'mamai-mamai'. I haven't seen my dear friends for nearly 7 years, and I do miss them a lot.
