Exams are over?

Assalamualaykum wht,

Alhamdulillah, I just finished my last final exam of the semester. More will be coming through in the next 3 months during the summer term, and they'll keep coming as they please in the Fall too. That's how people judge our intellects, by giving us exams, quizzes, and tests every now and then to perceive the academic levels we are standing on.

For the purpose of judging where our iman stand, we have obstacles and tribulation that must be encountered. That's how we know whether we are tough enough to handle small 'lil things that Allah has given us, or are we just gonna whine about how miserable and sux lives are compared to all big and small things He provides us right under our variety size of noses.

There was one story told by Cikgu Hisyam 7 or 8 years ago.
There was a married couple who were living in the best way of life one could imagine. The smiled, the laughed, they were happy. There was not even a single thing that could have bothered their contented hearts. So, one day the husband asked his lovely wife, "My dear wife, what else do you need me to do to make our lives even a better place than we are? I'll do anything for you my love..." The wife was silent for a moment, and then slowly she whispered to her beloved husband's ear, "My love, I would like to have a divorce". The husband was speechless for a moment. While still stunned he said, "Why would you want such a thing in our happy marriage, my dear?" The wife said gently, "We have been married for such a long time, yet we have never been tested with any unfortunate events or obstacles in our lives. I am afraid that Allah has ignored us....we lack of His tests and turbulences when he says that His test are the proofs that He loves His servants, to know how much we love Him."

Allah tests us in both ways, either when we rich or poor, happy or sad, good or bad.
I believe that everything happens for a reason.
