The Alien Is Coming


By has always been out of station, not the ones for works but for holidays. Perrghh...His company really pampers him and his colleagues a lot. They had fun in Pulau Pangkor, filled up their stomachs during a picnic in Trolak, riding sporty buggies at some pantai I couldn't recall, and mencandat bapak sotong in Kuala Terengganu. And he only works with the company for less than a year. That was a part of the reasons why he had to send me back to Penang several times since he didn't want me to be all alone in at home when he was away. :p

But this coming event his company has in plan makes me pretty jealous. They're going to the great mountain, Gunung Kinabalu in Sabah, and he'll be leaving for 3 days next month. Uhhhhhh.....

Well, what else can I do except than supporting him to get prepared for the big climb. I have already imagined myself being single again in Penang :p

Takara(So-->in Japanese), when he had to attend a briefing for the trip last week, the nosy-or-is-it-supporting-wife? came along...

Obviously, I would be the only one listening vigilantly to the briefing even though the KLIA is the farthest place my steps will be stomping.

When we reached at the park where the briefing was supposed to be held, Amanda, the HR officer detected my alien face. Dengan muka tak malunya of being the unwanted person yang menyibuk, I just smiled at her.

And the first word that came out of her mouth was,
"Mazri you nak bawak your wife pergi KK tak? Ada satu kosong, Ganti tempat David?"
"What?...Ngehehhehe..."

Long story short, one of their team members turned down the great opportunity to climb Gunung Kinabalu since he thought he was too old for heavy physical stuff. And since everything is already been paid..., one little space needs to be filled in. Been at the right time, at the right place, and thanks to the generousity of LG MD, I was offered to join the group. FOC ;)

The key point here is,
Sometimes it does pay to be a muka tak malu :p
