Assalamualaykum wht,

Moving --> Gombak

Raya was cool. (^-^)
We went to Penang (the wife's kampung) 3 days before Syawal.
The night before 1 Syawal, mak and abah had gathered all of our family members from near and afar and we did a little tahlil and makan2 for Awie, one of my relatives who would be going to Egypt to further his studies. I really had to slap my head for not knowing which one was mak's half brother. Well, at least I finally got to know mak's another brother besides from Pak Teh. That's what family gathering does, it brings people together. :)

We spent our 1st Syawal in Guar Perahu's neighborhood before departing to Kedah in the afternoon, abah's kampung. Spent a night in Kedah before departing back south in the morning. The 2nd Syawal was basically spent on the road to Johor.

Celebrating Raya with a new family didn't seem awkward to me at all, I even took the liberty of sleeping after breakfast until noon after we arrived Kluang.
Haha...I'm the muka tak malu one. (Okey, actually it was a little embarrassing but the fact that we just arrived from Penang would justify that) But, I think it was because the environment was comfortable and warm, it made me feel like I was home.

Since we had our first Raya in Penang, the next Raya would probably start in Johor.
The sacrifices we make for your marriage, it takes tolerance and understanding.
And alhamdulillah we had no problem with that.
But the funny thing is, the part I like the most was the time we traveled between Johor and Penang. Haahaa...

Man, do I love traveling...


(p/s: Oh yes, as the title above says, we did move from Tanjung Malim to Gombak. A little nearer to my workplace, a lot further from By's workplace. And for all the dust stick on your cloth, for the all rain splash on your face, for all your hardship and tiredness, I thank you so much and only Allah can weigh and reward you effort)
