Nufayl @ 8-month

Nufayl will turn 8-month old this coming Thursday. Hohoh..is it 8-month already since my last groaning while having a labour? Well, can't remember that one, now! :p

Nufayl is actively developing his own personality... this little baby is turning into a very manja child...

1. If he wants to sleep, he needs me to cuddle him while singing him 'ilahi lastu lil firdaus' and rocking him slightly until he goes to sleep. Sometimes, when the singing is interrupted by 'me-watching-the-tv-and-forget-that-i'm-supposed-to-rock-him-to-sleep', he'll let out his voice until I continue. I wonder how he sleeps at the nursery though, but I don't think I want to know. Possibility that the answer will break my heart is pretty high.

2. If he wants me or By to hold him, he'll reach out his hand and usap-usap our hands with his hands.

3. Prefer certain items more than his toys. He loves straws (any size will do, from the small air kotak straws to jumbo straws). Loves to suck on his socks (the ones he's wearing and the ones laying on the floor).

Had his first fall at the nursery and hurt his right cheek on last Friday.
The nursery staff kept saying 'mintak maaf, mintak maaf'. Well, nothing to be mad at. It's just natural for a baby to bump here and there once in a while, right...


Couldn't wait for our 2nd family trip this coming Thursday. We will be following By's motorbike buddies from KL to Nasik Beriani Gam in Batu Pahat then straight to Mee Bandung Johor. From there we'll separate from the group cause we'll be heading to Singapore for our holiday..yeayy, finally a real break after quite some time. Then, we'll attend 2 weddings this weekends at Rumah Alumni UTM. I think this total trip is a pretty busy holiday for us!

A Mother's Prayer

As a mother, it's hard to see other child without seeing your own.
And the incident reported below just crushes my heart, full-blown effect.


BERITA HARIAN - Bayi dibuang dalam lubang tandas awam



Bayi yang ditemui dalam keadaan tali pusatnya terbelit pada leher, manakala sebahagian punggungnya terperosok dalam lubang tandas kini mendapat rawatan di Hospital Jitra.

Rofidah Md Noor, 45, berkata beliau terkejut apabila dimaklumkan mengenai penemuan bayi itu oleh seorang lelaki berusia 30-an, kira-kira jam 10 pagi.

“Sebaik dimaklumkan, saya bergegas ke tandas dan mengambil bayi itu sebelum membalut badannya dengan surat khabar.

“Ketika ditemui, bayi itu dalam keadaan lemah dan sedang menghisap jari dipercayai lapar, manakala kakinya lebam,” katanya.


The baby was hungry and yet all he/she had was little fingers to sooth himself/herself while 'waiting' in the toilet bowl. My God, I just can't not imagine a human being can do that to her little baby.

Little baby, I pray for your happiness wherever you are and may Allah make it easy for you in whatever you do.

Rendu Bloomington

Yeah.. it was one of those days, again.
From time to time, the feeling to come back to Bloomington will escape and I'll turn mellow for a second.. :p




Our famous Sample Gate. Kalau raya takde tempat lain, kat sini la nak begambo untuk hantar ke Salam Perantau..heh..




Lived in 5 different apartments witihn 3 1/2 years! And Tulip Tree was among my favorite place to lepak-lepak.

I want to go back, have my student's life back but not gonna take those exams. I want to travel each holiday but not gonna work to save the money for traveling. I want to do everything all over again, but this time it will be with By and Nufayl....boley?

p/s: Been quite unrealistic recently. For example, I ordered a complete set of Dragon Ball (all 43 in 1 set) for more than RM 200 from Comic House...hahaha...
It was my childhood dream, really. Even though I think it is a bit ridiculous for me to still be doing that, I feel accomplished. My childhood dream has come true (^-^)
